The triangular river island of Ada Bojana is located in the south of Montenegro, near the border with Albania, about 15 km from the city of Ulcinj. It is surrounded on two sides by the Bojana River and on the third side by the Adriatic Sea; it is about two and a half by three kilometers in size. Access is via a bridge.
Between the island of Ada Bojana and Ulcinj, the 13 km long and 60 m wide sandy beach stretches along the Adriatic coast. The Big Beach is the longest sandy beach in Montenegro.
The Women’s Beach is a small, almost secluded bay in Ulcinj. Nestled in pine trees, a sulphur spring flows between the coastal rocks into the azure sea.
This wonderful place for healing body and soul is only for women.
This „sulfur spa healing center“ is known for infertility and has positive effects on many health challenges. The smell of the sulfur spring is easily perceptible, it smells like „rotten eggs“
